This is a great overview of affiliate marketing. There are so many different ways to go about making an income with affiliate marketing, so once you know a bit about it, I would advise to work with what you know, instead of trying to learn every single thing about it first.

I think Joel has the right idea. You can find so much information that you could find yourself all over the place trying to do this and that. I like trying to get one thing done and then moving on to something else. And like the post says there is low capital involved and that makes it so much easier.
